Anybody else feeling a New Years Resolution??

I know I have started and stopped more that an old broke down truck, but I am not ready to give up just yet. This next week I am going to be setting, and SHARING, my goals for myself. I will journal them here and hope you guys will support me, and push me when I start to quit. I need someone who will tell me to get back on the bandwagon, and help me stay there. I appreciate the support when I don't do so well, but I have plenty of that. I know that when it all comes down to it it doesn't really matter what size I am. I have no confusion on that matter at all. But I would LIKE to be a certain size, and am going to try try again to get there. What I need is someone who will cheer me in the good times and PUSH me in the hard times......(and I am willing to help anyone else in this same regard).....any volunteers??

-Cookie
(and I have no idea where I am with the + or -'s so I don't really know what to do about that....any suggestions?)

I say...new year, new start over...I don't really want to start so far in the positive. Taking that big loss after I had Robert, and gaining it mostly all back has really discouraged me.

If someone feels strongly about keeping their - then go ahead and keep it...you earned it!!

But as for me...I really want to zero out for a new start.

We need to come up with some games, or points, or something...maybe have a contest, or awards or something...I'll think on it.

I think that ZERO is where we all should start. I promise to support, but only if it is YOU that really wants to do the work. (Not someone wanting YOU to) It will only work if YOU really want it. Go for the work out not the size. Go for FEEL GREAT not a number on the scale. I too will be joining you, but only to feel better not only look better.
(But until the snack table is put away....:(

I am also a go! I think a 0 should work for everyone. Even if you are in a - you can still keep the same 00 and shoot for that. I would like to also start some games and challenges. Non-scale related. I think it would be good to keep track of our scale, but not make it the focus. I will see if I can come up with somethig. I am thinking right now about maybe a point system for # of workouts or veggies eaten and a prize for reaching that goal. What do you think?

I WANT IN!!!!!! I worked really hard last year and lost about 20 pounds throughout the year BUT I have now hit a plateau. I need some motivation. I'm almost where I need to be but I hear it's the last 10 pounds that are hardest. :) I would love to be back in the "club".

I am in as well. I have a goal as well with an incentive from my hubby :) I need some other motivation as well. I think that a clean start would be great as well. As for compitations, we tried that before and we would do the challange and nothing would come of it. We would just have to be better at following through.
