....2 weeks in, 2 weeks successful. Perfect score so far!! I really do love how this challenge is making me feel. (Although, when I was organizing the pantry today I found an open Hershey bar, and I swear to you not, I smelled it. Not just smelled it, but put it up to my nose and took a couple deep inhales.) Good thing I get a cheat once a week. No I did not cave into the Hershey's, but I did decide that when I cheat this week, it will be with Chocolate!!

Just me again....
....why do we insist on doing things to our bodies that just make us feel bad. I have stuck with this challenge for a week and a half now, and I am feeling so good. (I know, I know, a week and a half isn't much time) I'm just wondering what it is that makes us fall off the wagon when staying on it makes us feel good?? I hope I can keep up this feeling and this motivation. I LOVE this challenge!! -Cookie

Celebrate!!!
I made it this week! Yippee! No slowing of motivation either. I am still in this 100%! Maybe that is how I should look at this,...one week at a time. Much more managable chunk then 3 months. Thanks for cheering me on Club Zero, sorry if my posts are making you crazy :)

Part 2 of my story...
...So today when I went to baseball practice for Hayden, I laced up my tennis shoes and told them I was walking and why....how weird that I was embarrased by my desire to excercise. Actually they told me that next week they are going to put on their own tennis shoes and walk with me. One of the mom's actually made the comment that I was making really good use of my time! HA! (I know, I am totally weird) I am just glad that I made it happen, and thanks to my awesome hubby for making my grocery store run for me during practice so I could!! Thanks for your support club zero....I love you guys!!

Small slip 4 days in...
...I am still in this thing 100%, I missed my workout today. It was dumb too because I had several opportunities to fit it in and just didn't. Good thing I get a gimmie day each week in each catagory. So because I know you care here is the story. The morning was busy, so no time for a workout, no problem I think, I will put on my tennis shoes and walk laps while Hayden has baseball practice. Two of my friends have kids on the team and when I got there I felt too dumb to tell them I was going to walk and workout during practice, so I sat on the bench with them and there went my opportunity....GRRRR....I will not let myself be too embarrased again!!

It's been a while
I am checking in only when it makes a difference one way or the other. I am down another 2 pounds. This should make my side bar # -6. It doesn't seem like a lot, but I will take it! Keep it up everyone.

I did it (see previous post)
Crazy I know, with all I have going this summer. I definately NEED your support Club Zero. I feel like I have a little cheat having you here to help me along. By the way, the prize money is over $1000 if I don't screw this up.....If that doesn't motivate me I don't know what will... :) I think I am the only Club Zero member to join this particular program, but I know that at least some of you are in programs of your own. Wish me luck, and drive, and the stick-to-it-ness that I know I am going to need. I am famous for being all gung ho in the beginning and falling off the wagon a week later. Thanks again for your support....I love you all!

Tuesdays are my reporting days....
New stats.......
Push ups 67%
Sit ups 54%
2 Mile Run 87%
I'm improving...... (a little) Right now I'm running my two mile in a little less than 18 minutes. I am really going to work on speed drills for the next couple weeks. To be able to max your run you need to be able to run 2 miles in 15:54. That is really running!!!!! I am actually running at a pretty good little pace now so this will take some work. Wish me luck!!!!!

WELCOME BACK !!!!!
Yes I am having a welcome back to me party :) HA HA HA!!! No I haven't gained anything in the last few months but I haven't lost anything either and with another 25lbs to go I am going to take off again. Here is my plan :) Watch what I eat and exercise :) HA HA HA!!!!! OK it isn't a fabulously laid out plan but it is what it is. There is also a big part of me that wants to say I can do this on my own. I know alot of people that are taking things to try to loose weight. While that is fine for some it is something that has always scared me. They always come back with something that will possibly kill you. Or months or years from now I don't want to see something that I had taken to get skinny on one of those lawyer commercials because it could kill you or cause life long problems. I want to do this on my own!!! Not by my self without support and people just on my own with out taking any kind of meds to make it work. I really feel like that is the best way for me to attack this. And ATTACK I WILL!!!!!! I have made a 6 week goal for myself to loose 15 lbs. It does seem a little lofty but the 6 weeks I was on from the first of December till the middle of January when Matthew got sick and I went back into survival mode (which apparently means eat whatever I want) I lost 20 lbs!!! So I know it will be hard work but I really want to do it!!!!
Thanks for listening to me rant a little but now that it is out in the open I think I really can do this :) AND I CAN!!!!!

A New Challenge For Me
I am taking on a new challenge. I am surrounded by physical fitness fanatics here at Ft. Rucker. There are definitely perks to the army life. They are very strict about your physical fitness. Dave has to take a PT TEST once a month. I got curious at what I would have to do to pass a PT Test as a female. I looked it up and have taken on a new challenge. My goal is to Max my PT Test in 12 weeks. That means that I will be at 100% on every requirement. Sooooooo if it is ok I would like to take the first Monday of every month to report my progress. If anyone else is curious to know what their score would be here is the link......... (make sure you pick male or female)

Workout Change Up
I have taken my focus off of the long run for this week. I did a Kenpo workout which was a fun punch kick cadio workout. Then the rest of the week I did some interval training, one minute on, one minute off using high speed and incline on the treadmill.
I lost 5 pounds.
New Goal for the Year: Lose 56 more pounds by December 31.
