I really am here

Sorry for my absence yesterday. I am reporting a 0 for last week, better than I expected considering the fact that I completely fell off the wagon for a little while. I even told a club zero member face to face that I was done for a little while because I was so frustrated with other things happening around me. She supported my decision, which isn't so much an excuse as it is a justification for how I was feeling and why I was feeling that way. That being said THANK YOU Club Zero. My hyiatus is over, and I am back on board. I am hoping for some good negative numbers next week and am really looking forward to some of the postive things that are happening on this blog. I love you all so much. You are great!!

If you fall off the wagon does it count if you jump back on again?...

So I went out of town this weekend and everything had been going really well, but then Saturday night the in-laws suggested Pizza Hut for dinner. Can we say temptation galore. So I had mentally prepared myself to be as good as I could at our dinner and I had been good the rest of the day so one greasy high cal dinner would be alright and I would stop at a slice or two. Well on the way to Pizza Hut the crew got side tracked and they decided to take us to the Chinese Buffet instead. I am afraid I didn't fare as well in the face of temptation as Zode did. I have a weakness for Chinese. I justified by thinking that I never get to go out to eat, and they were treating us, and so I wasn't going to just eat salad, I can do that at home the other 364 days of the year. I was going to enjoy my dinner out(don't ask why my opinion changed with the resturaunt, I told you...chinese is a weakness...so it made sense to me!) I was almost sick. As we played games that night and the snacks came out I honestly thought to myself, I can't believe anyone could eat anything. I still wasn't hungry at breakfast time, but ate out of politeness, and tried to be very good at dinner, but Great-Grandma had made an apple pie, so how do you say no right in front of her, so I had a small slice. Thankfully(dietwise) I am home now, and have lost no motivation to stay on track. I had a great weekend there, but am a little afraid of what such a binge of a weekend will do to my numbers. Wish me luck, and thanks for helping me get back on track. It is weekends like those that used to derail any diet efforts permanantly. While I am confessing I guess I should admit that I only got in two workouts this week...not five. Please don't kick me out.
