The Alfalfinator's report

I am happy to report a -2.5 weight loss for the week. I did a little better on eating more balanced foods (fruits and vegetables mostly) this week. I also exercised twice this week by playing basketball. I will try to add at least one more workout this week and see how I do. Good luck everybody and welcome to our new member. Alfalfa

Here we go

So, I feel like the loser of the club. I only lost .5 lbs. I only exercised 4 days (not 6 like my goal), and I didn't reach my water goal every day. Oh well. This week is a new week. I am starting a new plan. I go to Weight Watchers and they have the new Momentum plan. I am going to follow it to the "T". I am going to exercise at least 5 times this week, more if I can. I am also still working on getting all my water in for the day. Hopefully I can actually make all my goals this week. Oh yeah, I am also doing the no sweets thing with a co-worker for 2 months. I hope I can push through :) Great job everyone else ;)

I'm Checking in Too!!

I am happy to report a -3 for the first week. I didn't really set any goals for the first week so here are my goals for this week. I would like to lose another 3 pounds. I will exercise 3 times this week. I will not give in to the cinnamon roll temptation this week. Good luck everyone!! Keep up the good work. Alfalfa

Week 1 Weigh In

I have to say that I am very disappointed. I have only lost 2 pounds. I did not reach my goal of exercise 5 days a week. I only got in 3 workouts. I will do better this week! But here are the things I am happy about. #1 - 10 days no caffeine - headaches are gone!!! #2 - The pounds are in the negative - not the positive! Good Luck Everyone On Your Week 1 Weigh In!!!!

Temptations Galore!

Last night I went to the Jazz game with my Jr. Jazz team. On our tickets each of us had a free hot dog and drink. I got mine, thinking I need dinner and I don't have money for anything else. Then as Jacob snarfed his, my temptations were surpassed by my motherly instinct to make sure he had enough to eat. So I had only one bite! Small victory - temptation not over.
Then, of course, as 8 year olds do. He was hungry again in about 30 minutes. The snack bar had no healthy options - not that I expected any - but when you're hungry all the evil calls to you. My personal weakness. NACHOS. I know it's just processed cheese, but YUM! You can tell you are really being tempted when you see people walking up the stairs with their warm and crispy treat and your mouth naturally hangs open and you start to justify all the reasons it would be ok! I drank my light lemonade hoping to quench my hunger, no luck. So, back to the evil snack bar, we chose the healthiest I could find. Pretzel. I gave Jacob 3/4 of it and continued to resist. I simply didn't want to have to face club zero with a confession. I had one slice of cheese pizza when I got home (for dinner) and went to bed feeling full and happy! Thanks everyone for your support. Hopefully results tomorrow will be GREAT!
