A change of scale

I haven't signed in for a few weeks, not because I didn't care or wasn't still working, just because the proximity to my usual scale had been more difficult to get to.
Anyway, there is a new scale at the gym and I can now weigh in every Monday morning. So I am not sure how accurate this is because it was a new scale and place and time of day, but put me down for a +1. Truly not too bad considering I have been sick for a week and not able to exercise or care about what I eat.
I am taking a page from the Saints fan's book and listing some Non-weight related goals so I can feel some positive encouragement even if the scale doesn't.

Exercise 1 hour a day 5 days this week. (even if it has to be in 15 minute spurts)
8 glasses of water daily
8 servings of fruits and veggies (that's a lot, but I am again inspired)
and . . .
I don't know that I can change the weather - but I promise not to complain about it any more (maybe if I change my attitude that alone will feel warmer)
