Fogarty reports a -.6 and I am reporting 0. To be honest, I am using the crazy scale this week because I have a cold and can't use the accurate one I am used to. It is showing about a -3 total, so I figured 0 is not too far from accurate.
As far as advice goes to all of you who are asking, I think you are being too hard on yourselves. One day, or holiday, is not going to cause significant gains. The body just doesn't work that way. You may have fluctuations from week to week, but don't be too hard on yourself. The biggest enemy to weight loss is discouragement, NOT HOLIDAYS. The goal here, at least for me, is to make a lifestyle change for the better. Controlling the everyday and working to make positive changes is really what this is all about.
I am extending a great job to everyone. Don't get frustrated. Stress can cause not only eating jags, but real chemical changes in the body.
Work hard, be accountable for your intake and output, and overall just make this week better that the last. If that is all you do you will be successful.
